This is for running tournaments that are unrelated to any "regular season" division. Scheduling options presented will be based on the number of teams in the tournament.

It can also be used for tournament-style playoff scheduling for divisions where teams might opt not to participate in the playoffs. This should not be used when playoffs are part of the normal division schedule.

The Modified Elo calculator is an older variant, retained primarily for backward compatibility. It has been found to have shortcomings when used for Ultimate. It is not recommended for use in new leagues.

This uses a modified Elo system, similar to the one used for international soccer, with several modifications:

• all games are equally weighted
• score differential bonus adjusted for Ultimate patterns (a 3 point win in soccer is a much bigger deal than in Ultimate)
• no bonus given for home-field advantage
